BISM ALLAH, AL RAHMAN, AL RAHEEM.

RAMADAN MUBARAK

(As taught to me by ALMIGHTY GOD ALLAH through inspiration)

'THE HOLY SPIRIT' (excerpt)

Ramadan is the (month)

In  which was sent down

The Qur'an, as a guide

To mankind, also clear (Signs)

For guidance and judgement

(Between right and wrong).

So every one of you

Who is present (at his home)

During that  month

Should spend it in fasting.

But if any one is ill,

Or on a journey,

The prescribed period

(Should be made up)

By days later.

ALLAH INTENDS every facility

For you; HE DOES NOT WANT 

To put you to difficulties.

(HE WANTS you) to complete

The prescribed period,

And to glorify HIM

In that HE HAS GUIDED you;

And perchance ye shall be 

grateful. (S. II. 185; A.Yusuf Ali translation)

Permitted to you,

On the night of the fasts,

Is the approach to your wives.

They are your garments.

ALLAH KNOWETH what ye

Used to do secretly among

yourselves;

But HE TURNED to you

And FORGAVE you;

So now associate with them.

And seek what ALLAH

HATH ORDAINED for you,

And eat and drink,

Until the white thread

Of dawn appear to you

Distinct from its black thread;

Then complete your fast

Till the night appears;

But do not associate 

With your wives

While ye are in retreat

In the mosques. These are

Limits (set by) ALLAH:

Approach not nigh thereto.

This doth ALLAH make clear

HIS SIGNS to men; that
They may learn self-restraint.

We (mankind) must not forget the reason we are here. ALLAH GAVE us SURE GUIDANCE when we were in the GARDEN. Instead of choosing to follow SURE GUIDANCE we chose to follow Iblis. That decision lead to our fall from GRACE and being expelled from the GARDEN.

'THE HOLY SPIRIT' (excerpt)

 We said: "O Adam! dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden; and eat of the bountiful things therein as (where and when) ye will; but approach not this tree, or ye run into harm and transgression."

Then did Satan make them slip from the (garden), and get them out of the state (of felicity) in which they had been. We said: "Get ye down, all (ye people), with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be your dwelling-place and your means of livelihood - for a time."(Sura II; 35-36, A.Yusuf Ali translation)

This life is our opportunity to earn our way back to the GARDEN and back into ALLAH'S GOOD GRACE. This time we should choose to follow ALLAH'S SURE GUIDANCE in order to be successful on JUDGEMENT DAY.

'THE HOLY SPIRIT' (excerpt)

Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord Turned towards him; for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful.

 We said: "Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you Guidance from me, whosoever follows My guidance, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
 "But those who reject Faith and belie Our Signs, they shall be companions of the Fire; they shall abide therein."
(Sura II; 37-39; A. Yusuf Ali translation)

Observing RAMADAN is one of those opportunistic choices we should make to show our Faith (Obedience to 'THE HOLY SPIRIT'). So, I pray all of us use this occasion to enhance our chances to return to the GARDEN.

'THE HOLY SPIRIT' Oath/Prayer

Almighty GOD, as the KEEPER of my record of deeds and intentions;

And as A WITNESS to all I say and do;

I do solemnly affirm and reaffirm to spend each moment of my life

doing YOUR WILL.

In YOUR NAME I pray.

Amin/Amen

ALLAH IS THE GREATEST

There is no GOD but ALLAH

All praises are due to ALLAH.
